- LEND Occupational Therapy Trainee
Anastasia is a third-year Doctor of Occupational Therapy student at the University of
Pittsburgh. She received her Honors Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a
minor in Disability Studies from the University of Delaware in 2020. Lifelong
relationships with family members with neurodevelopmental disabilities ignited
Anastasia’s passion for promoting inclusion and strength-based treatment approaches.
Previously, Anastasia has worked with the disability community through organizations
such as Best Buddies Delaware and Yes U Can USA, an adaptive sports and fitness
center.
Anastasia is excited to be involved in the LEND training program for the 2023-2024
academic year. She aims to develop the clinical expertise and leadership skills to be
able to navigate the healthcare, legislative, and related community systems with her
future clients
