Anne Boyd

  • LEND Advocacy Trainee

Anne Boyd is an advocacy trainee in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and Related Disorders (LEND) Program. She is also a second-year speech-language-pathology (SLP) master’s student at the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to her training as an SLP in both medical and educational settings, she has multiple years of experience working with children and teenagers who have learning and/or developmental disabilities as a chapter leader for the nonprofit Eye to Eye National, as an instructor at a literacy center, and as an intern at a school specializing in dyslexia and language-based learning disabilities. She has a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Washington-Seattle and a Bachelor of Art in History from Vassar College, which recognized her for exemplary service to the campus community. Anne hopes her time at LEND will help her better serve those around her in the future.
