Along with being a LEND Trainee, she is completing an internship with the Integrated Behavioral Health Care team at UPMC St. Margaret’s Family Health Centers.

She completed an internship with Squirrel Hill Health Center where she worked alongside social workers, therapists, and psychiatrists to provide culturally competent behavioral health services. She previously was an AmeriCorps Member where she provided support and services to children with learning disabilities, mental illnesses and trauma caused by poverty, violence and neglect.

Inspired by her own disability and experience as a person of color, she aims to be a leader in the medical social work profession to advocate for the needs and interests of BIPOC people with disabilities.
