Angela Caldwell, PhD, OTR/L, CLT

Angela Caldwell is an occupational therapist and assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. She has been serving as a faculty member of LEND since 2023. Dr. Caldwell’s research program focuses on developing and implementing interventions to reduce child health disparities. Her clinical expertise is in pediatrics and collaborating with families to promote child health in community-based settings. Dr. Caldwell is a federally-funded researcher and has developed two theory-driven interventions to promote healthy habit formation early in life for families of children facing unique barriers due to disability status or limited resources. She is an associate member of the Healthy Weight Research Network. In 2024, she received the Early Career Diversity from the Child and Family Health Special Interest Group of the Society of Behavioral Medicine.
