Shelby Sydenstricker

Shelby Sydenstricker is a passionate third-year Doctor of Audiology student at the University of Pittsburgh. Her most cherished clinical experiences have been at two schools for the deaf/hard-of-hearing, where she found a special connection working with children who have neurodevelopmental disabilities. She hopes to continue building on those meaningful experiences with children and their families as a LEND Audiology Trainee for the 2023-2024 academic year. Beyond her academic pursuits, Shelby dedicates her time to volunteering at community events, where she shares invaluable knowledge about hearing to children, their families, and the wider community. When she's not in school or giving back to her community, Shelby enjoys the simple pleasures of tending to her beloved houseplants and spending quality time with her friends.
