Victoria Filingeri, MSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in the Division of Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut, and her master’s in social work from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Social Policy and Practice, with a specialization in child well-being and child welfare. She provides psychosocial support to patients and families followed in the outpatient clinic of Complex Care at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Her clinical interests include: social determinants of health, ethnic and racial health inequities, medical complexity, technology dependence, palliative care, developmental disabilities, cultural humility, and child welfare.
