Hayley Schneider

Hayley Schneider is a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing her Doctorate in
Audiology. She went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to receive her Bachelor of Science
degree in Human Development and Family Studies and Communication Sciences and
Disorders. Hayley has a unique perspective on disability and society due to her immediate
family experiences and has always wanted to expand her knowledge in the field of disability.
During her undergraduate program, she worked for United Cerebral Palsy and had the
opportunity to work with a wide range of clients with physical and intellectual disabilities. These
experiences heightened her desire to work with and advocate for this population and has driven
her to join the LEND family. Her goals entail growing her knowledge and skills in advocacy,
interdisciplinary work, communication, and leadership from the LEND trainee program. These
goals will allow Hayley to become a clinician who is patient-centered, compassionate, and feels
confident working with a wide range of individuals.
