Katherine Bart

  • LEND Audiology Trainee

Katherine Bart is a third-year Doctorate of Audiology student at the University of Pittsburgh. She graduated from Boston University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Science and a minor in Public Health. During her undergraduate career, she participated in volunteer work through the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) and the local branch of Autism Speaks. These experiences sparked her interest in working with individuals with disabilities. Katherine enjoys working with a wide range of patient populations, but she holds a specific interest in children who are deaf/hard-of-hearing and use a variety of communication modalities, such as American Sign Language and AAC devices. She hopes the LEND traineeship will equip her with specialized knowledge and skills, so she can provide the highest quality care to patients within and beyond clinical settings.
